This Monday’s issue of Weekly Shonen Jump looks to be an exciting one. Not only is it revealing the upcoming anime series of My Hero Academia (officially this time), but it’ll announce more details on the adventure and online modes of Bandai Namco’s Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 fighting game.
By meeting characters while freely exploring Konoha and Suna and completing missions in the game’s adventure mode, you will trigger events and the many conversation scenes between Naruto and friends. The online mode, on the other hand, will allow you to test your ninja skills against other players, while sometimes limited time events will let all players team up to take part.
On top of its content, including a recreation of the Shinobi World War, Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 boasts the largest number of playable fighters in the series’ history. As well as characters from the fight between Hashirama and Madara, there will be several familiar faces from The Last –Naruto the Movie–, and anyone who pre-orders the game in America or Europe will receive the playable characters Boruto and Sarada from Boruto –Naruto the Movie–. In Japan, anyone who buys the game on the day of release will also be rewarded with these bonus fighters.
Bandai Namco released the game’s third promo video in September, previewing all of the game’s characters, including Boruto and Sarada. You can check it out below:
Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will be released in Japan on February 4th, in Europe on February 5th, and in North America on February 9th.
