This year’s Leeds International Film Festival brings with it the customary Fanomenon Anime Day. Taking place this Sunday, November 8th, the full line-up of anime movies being screened for the event has been confirmed by the festival’s official website. The showings and times are as follows:
11:00am – The Murder Case of Hana & Alice
1:00pm – Expelled from Paradise
3:30pm – Miss Hokusai
6:00pm – Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie
8:00pm – Empire of Corpses (pictured below)
All of these films will be shown in Leeds’ Victoria Hall, with tickets for each one available here for £8, or £6 for concessions, and tickets for the full Fanomenon Anime Day available here for £25, or £20 for concessions. Those who want to see Miss Hokusai but can’t make it this Sunday may well be in luck, as there will be two more screenings happening on Monday, November 9th at 4:00 pm, and Thursday, November 12th at 2:00pm, both at the Vue in the Light, with tickets on sale here.
On the live-action side of things, the Cottage Road Cinema will be showing Assassination Classroom on Sunday, November 15th at 2:30pm, and you can buy tickets for this screening here.
