A new promo video for the anime adaptation of a sci-fi otome (female audience) PSP game by Otomate, Norn9: Norn + Nornette, has been uploaded on the TV series’ official website. Set as a winter release and due to premiere in January, this promo for the anime debuted at last weekend’s Animate Girls Festival in Tokyo. Who knows, perhaps this could turn out to be Muv-Luv’s counterpart for hot guys.
In the game, a boy named Sorata Suzuhara hears a song that transports him to another land. When he comes round and finds himself in this strange world, he realises it reminds him of pictures from the Meiji and Taishō era, ones he remembers seeing in his school textbooks. In this mellow, ancient place, he meets three girls and nine other boys, and they set out on a journey together on the Norn airship. The player has a choice between the three girls as to who they’ll be as the heroine, and then each girl has three of the nine boys to befriend, flirt and fall in love with.
The cast from the game are all reprising their roles for the anime, and they include:
Atsushi Abe as Sorata Suzuhara
Mitsuhiro Ichiki as Setsu Takishima
Kenji Hamada as Shiro Yuiga
Nagi Yanagi as Aion
