There are now two teasers up on Ghost in the Shell’s official YouTube channel for the VR app ‘Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie Virtual Reality Diver’, one being a regular 2D visual, while with the other you can experience a full 360˚ view if you already have your own VR gear. (Google Cardboard is ideal if you’re wanting a more saver savvy headset than an Oculus Rift.) The stereoscopic teaser was first screened at the Tokyo Game Show event held from September 17th–20th, inside a dome theatre set up by Production I.G, who are producing the app.

The complete work will be 10 minutes long and follow an original story, all in 3D 360° video.  It’s scheduled to go on sale for Android and iOS in February, and for Japan it’s priced at 480 yen. The cast returning from Ghost in the Shell: The Movie to voice their characters in the app are as follows:
