A more in-depth glimpse at the upcoming anime adaptation of Kei Sanbe’s time-travel manga Boku dake ga Inai Machi (The Town Where Only I Am Missing) has arrived in the form of a new commercial trailer. The anime’s official website started streaming the ad today, and as well as showing us a few seconds’ preview of the animation and a couple of character voices, it reveals that Puella Magi Madoka Magica’s Yuki Kajiura composed the music for the series, which can also be heard in the 30-second clip.

In this CM, the premiere date is also announced as January 7th on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block. This news comes three days after the Bokumachi live-action movie’s theatrical release was confirmed as March 19th next year.
Director Tomohiko Ito of Sword Art Online and Silver Spoon is once again teaming up with Taku Kishimoto, also of Silver Spoon, on series composition at A-1 Pictures. Keigo Sasaki of Blue Exorcist, meanwhile, is in charge of character design, and you can check out our report on the reveal of his main character designs here.
