Umaru-chan event doesn’t deliver expected second season announcement

Though Umaru fans had got themselves hyped up for a second season announcement at the Himouto! Umaru-chan ~ The Final ~ Soshite Densetsu e event, which gathered the anime’s cast yesterday, they were met with a rather anti-climactic occasion.

Despite the launch of Ebina-chan’s spin-off manga and the recent release of the Himouto Raising Project game creating the perfect springboard, there’s been no official statement as yet that Umaru-chan’s everyday adventures will continue in anime form.
