News: Glitter Force English dubbed trailer released

As Glitter Force gears up for its Netflix debut, Saban Brands has released a trailer for this adaptation of the Smile PreCure! anime. As well as getting a preview of the English dub, we learn the adapted names of all five of the magical girls, whose show will be streaming worldwide outside of Asia from this Friday, December 18th.


The all-girl group Blush perform the opening theme and insert songs for the 20-episode first season, and this shouldn’t be all we’ll see of Glitter Force. According to World Screen, there are 40 confirmed episodes – so at least another whole series – to look forward to. Here’s the synopsis and details for finding out more:

Glitter Force is an adapted version of Toei Animation’s successful Japanese anime television series, Pretty Cure (or PreCure). The new series follows five preteen girls who learn that they are a legendary superhero squad known as the Glitter Force and must defend Earth from evil fairytale villains.
