Kadokawa is now streaming a new short commercial for the anime adaptation of Ghost in the Shell’s Masumune Shirow and Excel Saga’s Koushi Rikudou’s manga Pandora of the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn. In the ad you can hear the show’s opening theme, ‘hopeness’, performed by ZAQ.
The series premieres in Japan on Friday, and both Crunchyroll and FUNimation will be streaming simulcasts, while the latter will also be showing an English broadcast dub. FUNimation describes the show:
From Shirow Masamune, the creator of Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed, comes the story of two cybernetically enhanced girls fighting to save their home. A super-powered terrorist has threatened the island of Cenancle. To fight him off, Nene Nanakorobi, a cybernetic girl-next-door, will have to team up with famous inventor Delilah Uzal and her adorably grumpy cyborg assistant, Clarion.
Starring in the series are Sanae Fuku as Nene, Manami Numakura as Clarion and Atsuko Tanaka as Uzal Delilah.
