This Thursday, Shueisha’s V Jump magazine will announce that Bandai Namco are developing a Dragon Ball role-playing game for 3DS, called Dragon Ball Project Fusion. A release date hasn’t been announced, but we know it’s arriving this year, and the magazine offers up the plot hint: “The emergency plan starts now. You will create your own Fusion Warrior!”
The above teaser spread from the magazine shows Goku and Broly about to achieve fusion, and readers will be able to enter a character design competition based on the concept. The winning design showing two fused Dragon Ball characters will appear in the finished game, and Project Fusion will return to Jump later this year in the form of a manga series, which will debut in Saikyō Jump.
