News: Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine announces plans for Cardcaptor Sakura’s 20th anniversary

In May it will have been 20 years since Cardcaptor Sakura first opened the book in CLAMP’s manga. To celebrate, Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine is announcing that there will be a “new project” based on their serialisation. There are no other details to speak of for the time being, but more should be on their way soon.

Aside from this news, Nakayoshi has added that as the milestone draws closer, the Cardcaptor Sakura anime’s Clow Card arc will be rebroadcast in Japan. NHK’s BS Premium will set off the arc on April 6th, so fans can enjoy Sakura achieving her mastery of the sorcerer Clow Reed’s cards once more.
