The latest Dragon Ball manga will be based on the upcoming RPG Dragon Ball Project Fusion for Nintendo 3DS, and today’s issue of Shueisha’s Saikyo Jump has confirmed that it will debut in the mag’s May issue, due to be published on April 1st. In January, V Jump announced that the Bandai Namco game will be released this year, and gave readers the teaser: “The emergency plan starts now. You will create your own Fusion Warrior!”
An image (above) was also placed alongside the news in V Jump, showing Goku and Broly about to achieve fusion. The magazine is currently running a character design competition based on the combining power, and the winning design showing two fused Dragon Ball characters will be awarded with an appearance in the finished game when it’s released.
