JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable visuals revealed

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure will be continuing very soon, as the next adaptation of Hirohiko Araki’s manga, Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable, is starting up this spring season. To tease us with some of the sights in this new series, Weekly Shonen Jump will be releasing a visual and character designs in next week’s issue, as well as revealing plans to release special omnibus editions of the manga. You can also take a look at the teaser images unveiled on the anime’s official website today.

The cast for the series includes Durarara!!’s Shizuo Heiwajima and Black Butler’s Sebastian Michaelis, Daisuke Ono as Jōtarō Kūjō, and Wataru Takagi returning from the All-Star Battle and Eyes of Heaven games as Okuyasu Nijimura. Yuuki Ono (the games’ Wataru Hatano) as Jōsuke Higashikata
Yuuki Kaji (the games’ Romi Park) as Kōichi Hirose

The previous JoJo series’ episode directors, Toshiyiki Kato and Yuuta Takamura, are stepping up as series director and chief director respectively, led by Naokatsu Tsuda returning as director. Penguindrum‘s Terumi Nishii is in charge of character designs, with action animation director Kenta Mimuro also working on stand design, and Yasuko Kobayashi on series composition. The extended staff members join on as follows:

Sub-Character Design: Shun’ichi Ishimoto
Prop Design: Yukitoshi Hōtani

Color Design: Yuko Sato

For the series’ new opening theme, THE DU sings ‘Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town’, rather fittingly for the setting of the town of Morioh, with the single shipping on CD on April 27th. The show’s official website also previously streamed the preview below, which introduces the series’ setting and story.
