In January, FUNimation gave us a little teaser of their plans to develop anime mobile games for Funimation Now, in partnership with mobile game developers GameSamba and online/mobile game publishers NGames Interactive. Now the first of those games has officially come to light, with the first concrete announcement for a Fairy Tail game made with the help of Kodansha.
The planned mobile RPG will be available worldwide in multiple languages on both Android and iOS, and it will follow a new side story drawing from the anime’s sequel series. Recruiting and battling against your favourite characters, you’ll create and level up your own powerful team of wizards, and the first chance to join the Earthland fun is expected to arrive by the end of 2016. More details will be revealed in the near future, and to keep updated on the game’s progress, you can check either the GameSamba website or their Facebook page.
