Following the Fairy Tail mobile RPG that FUNimation announced they were developing with game developers GameSamba and online game publishers NGames, once again creating with publisher Kodansha, they’ve now revealed their plans for an Attack on Titan mobile game based on the anime and manga franchise. With release aims for Android and iOS “in all major English markets” by the end of this year, they describe the game:
The “Attack on Titan” game will be an action-driven title, allowing players all over the world to battle titans on their mobile devices. It will combine elements of runner and action games, in order to replicate the feeling of the titan battles from the anime series. Players will need to use careful planning – and quick reactions – to survive.
In the meantime, through their strategic partnership with GameSamba and NGames Interactive, FUNimation are not only working on the Fairy Tail mobile game, but also a separate, free-to-play Fairy Tail online game. More details are still forthcoming, but you can keep an eye on updates with the GameSamba website or their Facebook page.
