News: Joker Game gets third promo setting the scene with looming threat of World War II

The latest look at the work of Kazuya Nomura, the director of Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie, and Guilty Crown’s Toshiyuki Yahagi as character designer and chief animation director on Joker Game has arrived. This preview of the anime adapting Koji Yanagi’s World War II mystery novel, which went on to win the Mystery Writers of Japan and the Eiji Prize for New Writers awards, follows its first CM and opening and ending theme music videos, setting the scene in 1937 amidst the rumblings of full-blown warfare.

Emerging from the cerebral shadows of Psycho-Pass at Production I.G and written by Haikyu!!’s Taku Kishimoto, with Dogs mangaka Shirow Miwa’s character designs, the show is slated to premiere on AT-X, Tokyo MX, MBS and TV Aichi on April 5th.
