News: 10th Annual Seiyuu Awards’ lead actor, lead actress and others announced

On Saturday, the 10th Annual Seiyuu Awards ceremony was held, and the winners, both the previously announced and unannounced, were honoured for their voice acting work. The lead and supporting actor and actress award winners, among others, were kept secret until the big night and revealed as follows:

Best Lead Actor Award
Award for best leading performances from an actor during the year
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Food Wars!’ Yukihira Soma)

Best Lead Actress Award
Award for best leading performances from an actress during the year
Inori Minase (Aldnoah.Zero‘s Eddelrittuo)

Most Votes Award
Hiroshi Kamiya (Durarara!!‘s Izaya Orihara – he has now won this award for five years in a row.)

Best Supporting Actor Award
Award for best supporting performances from an actor during the year
Kenichi Suzumura (Gintama‘s Okita Sogo)
Yoshimasa Hosoya (Haikyu!!‘s Asahi Azumane)

Best Supporting Actress Award
Award for best supporting performances from actresses during the year
Shizuka Ito (Assassination Classroom‘s Irina Jelavic)
Saori Hayami (Noragami‘s Tsuyu)

Best New Actor Award
Award for noteworthy performances from an actor who debuted within the last five years
Yuichiro Umehara (GATE‘s Diabo)
Shunsuke Takeuchi (Kuromukuro‘s José Carlos Takasuka)
Ayumu Murase (Haikyu!!‘s Shoyo Hinata)

Best New Actress Award
