Confirming the rumours that Ajin would arrive on Netflix in April, the streaming service has officially listed the premiere date for the sci-fi horror anime. The series based on Gamon Sakurai’s manga Ajin – Demi-Human will begin streaming worldwide on April 12th, and Netflix describes the series produced by Knights of Sidonia’s Polygon Pictures:
A teenager discovers that he is an Ajin and flees before the authorities experiment on him. Other Ajin plan to fight back and he must choose a side.
The manga series has already inspired three movies as well as the anime, and the second part of the anime film trilogy, Shoutotsu (Collision), will get a limited theatrical run in Japan for three weeks starting on May 6th. The third part, Shougeki (Impact), will then follow on September 23rd.
