Sherlock manga’s English translation previewed

Our first look at the English translation of the Sherlock manga from Titan Comics, based on Jay.’s adaptation of the BBC show starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, has been posted on io9 along with four variant covers featuring art by Alex Ronald, Rod Reis and Question no. 6. The first issue, depicting the show’s first episode ‘A Study in Pink’will be released in the US and the UK on June 8th, with all six issues of the first manga run following separately, before the compiled and single book volumes are also released by Titan Comics.

Rest assured that these six issues won’t be the end of the manga for us, as Titan Comics have also secured the rights to Jay.’s adaptations of the following two episodes, ‘The Blind Banker’ and ‘The Great Game’. Once the first episode’s been published, with many of the issues also as oversized versions, we can look forward to seeing it continue very soon afterwards.
