News: Crunchyroll announce Loot Anime partnership and Hot Topic Ani-May sales event

Crunchyroll’s been branching out into more forms of anime media lately, and now they’ve added a new perk for their members in teaming up with Loot Anime. The newly branded Loot Crate with Crunchyroll colours comes with a $5 monthly subscription discount when you verify your membership with the streaming service.

Loot Anime x Crunchyroll

As Loot Crate does ship to the UK, and because they ran a UK-inclusive deal earlier this year for a free Loot Crate with a month’s subscription to Crunchyroll, this perk should be extended to us. For now though, we can’t be sure of the exact discount in GBP.

That isn’t the only partnership they’ve announced today either. Hot Topic and Crunchyroll are celebrating “Ani-May”, and for the entire month there’ll be a sales campaign on new and classic anime merch online and across all physical Hot Topic stores. If you haven’t been a Crunchyroll subscriber before, there’s the added bonus of a free 30-day trial of Crunchyroll Premium with any $25 purchase during the Ani-May event.

If this is just a sign of more goodies to come, we can’t wait to see the team-up Crunchyroll shares with us next.
