News: Attack on Titan season two will miss 2016, according to distributors

With all the swirling rumours around Attack on Titan‘s second series, the fact that it was officially set to air in 2016 has been lost under the rubble somewhat. But Spanish home video and streaming distributors SelectaVision, who have always been free and open about making comments and statements on the shows they carry, are now saying that the series two premiere will miss 2016 altogether.

On top of that, in both a Mision Tokyo interview and a Facebook comment, the Attack on Titan manga publishers and anime production committee members Kodansha have also indicated that the new series won’t be airing this year. But SelectaVision has high hopes that we’ll see it in 2017, and potentially during January’s winter season.
