News: Fate/stay mahjong web manga series collected in print

There’s only so many ways you can spin out and spin-off a battle for the Holy Grail, and there’s already been a checkers reference in the Red v. Black set-up of Fate/Apocrypha, so when you find that the Fate war’s been executed over the mahjong table, it all makes perfect sense. Last year, the web mangaka syatey launched a Twi4 (i.e. Twitter four-panel) series spoofing the TYPE-MOON mainstay called Fate/mahjong night -Seihai Sensou, and it’s now being published in print collections.

The first volume of the gambling comedy was released on May 11th, and syatey illustrated a series of bonus artwork for the release. Strips of the manga can still be read online, though in Japanese only, here.
