First batch of FUNimation titles for UK home release confirmed
At the end of April, UK otaku started noticing that a few FUNimation titles had appeared on Amazon UK. With FunimationNow also seeing the advent of the US-based distributors streaming to Britain and Ireland, anime fans in our neck of the woods have been getting antsy about whether that meant future FUNimation home releases. Well, all has been revealed, and we’re happy to say it’s all good news.
Anime Limited confirmed on Twitter that they’ll be working with FUNimation Entertainment to distribute their titles in the UK. To that end, there’s now an official and exhaustive list, as reported by UK Anime Network, of the anime series coming to us through this partnership over the coming months:

All of the above will be released as DVD/Blu-ray combo sets, except for Fairy Tail and Rainy Cocoa which are slated as DVD-only releases. May this begin a long and merry relationship between the UK and FUNimation’s home video distribution.
