Event: Tekkonkinkreet’s Michael Arias will crash into MCM London Comic Con (updated)

The newest honoured guest added to the bill for MCM London Comic Con is the Tekkonkinkreet director, storyboarder, story editor and CGI animator Michael Arias. Arias will appear on a panel on Saturday, May 28th, at the festival which will take over the Excel Centre from May 27th-29th.

In more recent years, Arias has co-directed the Studio 4°C sci-fi film Harmony based on the late Project Itoh’s novel. He’s also known for producing all the episodes of The Animatrix and animating the CG for the series’ two-parter, Second Renaissance. He’ll be joined at the event by Gundam: The Origin‘s mecha designer, Mika Akitaka, and the films’ producer, Osamu Taniguchi, as Gundam: The Origin III Dawn of Rebellion will be given its EU premiere at the event.

Update: MCM London have confirmed that, during his panel on May 28th, Arias will be discussing the making of the Project Itoh film Harmony.
