A countdown to a new Dragon Ball game announcement started by Bandai Namco ended with the reveal of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Already in production with Osaka-based developers DIMPS, the game’s 2016 launch is planned for Japan, the Americas and Europe, and it promises to build on the previous game with the largest, most detailed Dragon Ball world to date.

On top of that, we’ve been told to expect enhanced graphics, a new hub city, and the most varied character customisation menu in the games’ history. It will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam, and a reveal of more detail is planned for this year’s E3 gaming festival, which will take place in Los Angeles from June 14th-16th.

Sequel? I still haven’t had time to play the first one. Can I borrow the DBZ training chamber that slows down time? It’s the only way I will ever clear my gaming backlog.

We know how you feel. Slowing down time is likewise the only way to make a dent in our gaming backlogs, not to mention our anime watch list.
