Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine to host 40th anniversary exhibition

This summer, Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine reflects in celebration of its 40 years in print. In all that time, it’s been home to such manga as Snow White with the Red HairNatsume’s Book of FriendsMaid-sama!Vampire Knight and Ouran High School Host Club, and that’s just to name a select few. These titles and many others are going to be at the heart of a large-scale exhibition coming to Shibuya, Tokyo’s Seibu Art Gallery from July 23rd, so fans can join in with the reminiscence.

Visitors will be able to see works set up by theme in the sections LOVE, FANTASY, SCHOOL, PRETTY and, last but by no means least, IKEMEN (translated: “good-looking men”). Original goods available only at the venue will also be on sale, and tickets for the  exhibit itself begin sales on June 1st in the Seibu Ikebukuro department store.
