Nakayoshi magazine announcing new Cardcaptor Sakura anime

As Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine gets ready to start Cardcaptor Sakura‘s new manga in their June 3rd issue, it’s been revealed that the very same issue will hold the announcement of a new anime based on CLAMP’s original manga. For now, the magazine is keeping its secrets about the series, but the staff have said more details will be announced as they are decided upon.

The Cardcaptor Sakura manga celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, so Nakayoshi and CLAMP are commemorating it with an art book, as well as the sequel manga set after Sakura Kinomoto graduates from Tomoeda Elementary School. The series first announced in March begins on her first day at junior high, when she has a strange dream and is launched into a whole new adventure.

The original manga, which launched in Nakayoshi in May 1996 and ended in June 2000, has been noted by Nakayoshi as selling over 12 million copies. It was also adapted as a studio Madhouse anime from April 1998 to March 2000, which NIS America licensed in 2014 for release in North America. The distributors describe the story:

Ten-year-old Sakura lives a pretty normal life with her older brother, Toya, and widowed father, Fujitaka. At least she did, until the day she returned home from school to discover a glowing book in her father’s study. After opening the book and releasing the cards within, Sakura is tasked with collecting each of these magical cards, while trying to live the life of a normal fourth grader. In the monumental task of collecting all the cards, Sakura must rely on her friends and family, and decide what she finds most important in life.

It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times
it’s hard to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and appearance.
I must say you have done a amazing job with this.
Also, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Internet explorer.
    Outstanding Blog!
