News: Fate/Extella game announces Japanese release date

The Musou-style, more action-centric take on the Fate game franchise, Fate/Extella, has now been given its Japanese release date after being announced back in March. The latest issue of Famitsu magazine reveals that the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita release will hit shelves on November 10th this year.

Three new additions to the line-up of playable Servants, Artoria Pendragon, Jeanne d’Arc, and Elizabeth Báthory, have stepped up among the 16 Servants which will be featured in Fate/Extella. The latest promo, as seen below, shows off Mumei and Gilgamesh’s moves as playable Archers, and a mysterious Saber appears in silhouette.

More details are due to be revealed tomorrow (June 2nd). There’s still no official news of an international distribution, but we’re holding out hope that the .com domain set up in April by XSEED is a sign of a western release to come.
