Event: Yu-Gi-Oh! celebrates 20th anniversary with exhibition this August

To celebrate 20 years of belief in the heart of the cards since Kazuki Takahashi launched his Yu-Gi-Oh! manga in Shonen Jump, two exhibitions titled Road of Duelist will be held in Tokyo and Osaka this August. Each event will feature the history of the anime TV series based on the 1996 manga, showcasing the evolution of the story and its protagonists, including Yugi Muto and his Pharaoh alter-ego Yami Yugi.

The Tokyo venue for the first run of the exhibition is Akiba Square, with doors open from 10:00am till 5:00pm from August 13th-17th. The sequential tribute will then move to Osaka’s ATC special event space, where it will be running from August 26th-30th. All three editions of advance tickets are now on sale, from the lowest price of 1,300 yen for a standard ticket with no bonus gifts. The 3,300 yen 20th anniversary gift edition ticket is available in five types: Duel Monsters, Duel Monsters GX, 5D’s, ZEXAL and ARC-V. And finally, the 5,300 yen memorial medal set features the heroes of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.
