In this Monday’s (July 4th) issue of Shonen Jump, the magazine will announce that two anime films of Assassination Classroom are in the works, which will premiere in a limited joint screening event on November 19th. The first is a compilation film of the anime series based on Yusei Matsui’s original manga, which will also include an original story, titled Gekijoban Ansatsu Kyoshitsu 365 Hi no Jikan (Assassination Classroom The Movie: 365 Days)The other is a short based on Kizuku Watanabe and Jo Aoto’s Koro-sensei Quest spin-off manga, which will mark the first anime adaptation for the series starring Koro-sensei as the demon king.

This announcement for Koro-sensei Q! was first hinted in the magazine’s June 27th issue, and Monday’s reveal will coincide with the release of the sword and sorcery spoof series’ first compiled volume. Studio Lerche, who managed production for the Assassination Classroom anime, return to work on both the compilation and original film.
