The official website for the Ao no Exorcist: Kyoto Fujo O-hen (Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Impure King Arc) anime series had its grand opening today (July 4th), unveiling a teaser video for the series which will premiere in 2017. The site is also streaming (region-locked) cast comment videos for returning leads Nobuhiko Okamoto and Jun Fukuyama, and displaying character designs for the main characters.
There’s also the option for fans to download a wallpaper of the newly revealed key visual.
It was announced in today’s issue of Jump Square magazine that Koichi Hatsumi of Deadman Wonderland and Gangsta will replace Tensai Okamura as the new series’ director at A-1 Pictures, with Toshiya Ono of Gatchaman Crowds and tsuritama taking over from Ryota Yamaguchi on series composition. Keigo Sasaki is back on character design, and Hiroyuki Sawano returns in charge of the score, but he’ll be composing alongside newcomer Kohta Yamamoto who, like Sawano, is represented by management company Legendoor.
