Event: Code Geass’ 10th anniversary celebration plans in the pipeline

As the legend that is Lelouch of the Rebellion approaches a landmark celebration, with the Code Geass anime approaching its 10th anniversary, plans to mark the occasion are already getting in the swing. On November 27th, there will be an event called ‘Anniversary of a Miracle – Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion‘ at the Mihama Ampitheatre in Chiba, and while there are no more details yet, more information is promised for the near future.

The original anime officially premiered on October 5th, 2006, and had a later satellite television premiere across Japan on November 7th the same year. The anime’s first 25-episode run is now streaming on Netflix UK, and the service gives its story the following description:

A high-schooler who’s granted powers to make anyone instantly obedient dons a mask to lead Japan’s rebellion against a long-invading Britannia.
