English-language yaoi publishers SuBLime are delivering the summertime sizzle to manga readers globally, with the story of forbidden love between a therapist and his patient in Ten Count. This new title by Rihito Takarai, who also created the Seven Days manga now out-of-print in English, is rated ‘M’ for Mature Readers and available now in print and digital formats.

The print edition retails for $12.99 US (or $14.99 CAN), with the digital version priced at $5.99 US and offering readers two methods of digital access to the volume on SuBLimeManga.com. There is the choice of a DRM-free downloadable PDF, viewable on any enabled eReader device, as well as via the online manga viewer found on the SuBLime website.

SuBLime describe the story of the series and their English release:

In Ten Count, corporate secretary Shirotani suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder. One day he meets Kurose, a therapist who offers to take him through a ten-step program to cure him of his compulsion. But as the two go through each of the ten steps, Shirotani’s attraction to his counselor grows.

“This hotly awaited new series is going to heat up summer reading as its troubled protagonist falls for a therapist with a most unorthodox treatment,” says SuBLime Editor, Jennifer LeBlanc. “Creator Rihito Takarai is adored among yaoi fans. We are very excited to add her to the SuBLime catalog and look forward to her work reaching even more readers through this latest release.”

I’m so excited for this! I remember a friend recommending Ten Count to me and now in the states! As if I need more manga to buy @_@

Ha, we know what you mean. Our to-buy list grows quicker than we can keep up.

Doesn’t help when you just add more manga to the list because an anime has stopped 🙂
