With the original Steins;Gate visual novel now available on Steam at last, Rice Digital are preparing to bring Steins;Gate 0 to North America and Europe this year. To make it worth the wait they’re including a special collector’s Amadeus Edition, which has a UK price tag of £69.99 for PlayStation 4 or £59.99 for PS Vita, and includes the following items:

  • Standard Edition of Steins;Gate 0
  • Steins;Gate 0 The Selected Works Soundtrack Exclusive to the Amadeus Edition
  • Steins;Gate 0 Premium Artbook
  • Amadeus Pin Badge Exclusive to the Amadeus Edition
  • Fairy Upa Exclusive to the Amadeus Edition
  • High quality presentation box Exclusive to the Amadeus Edition

But for the strapped for cash (which, let’s face it, most of us anime fans are), games publishers and distributors PQube have arranged an alternative Limited Edition. This option doesn’t include the Fairy Upa, Amadeus pin or soundtrack, but you can still get your hands on the same artbook that comes with the Amadeus Edition. On release, this edition will be available at all North American and European games stockists, cutting out the pre-order rigmarole.

All pre-order  options are available now from Rice Digital’s website, but expect the Amadeus Edition to take a little more time to ship. Due to manufacturing times, this edition could take longer to release than the standard.

I’ll be content with just the game, but its good to see that niche titles can get a premier release for the hardcore fans out there.
