A teaser website has gone live revealing 5pb. Games’ plans to release a Re:ZERO visual novel. The game has been given the title Re:ZERO Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu -DEATH OR KISS- (Re: Life in a different world from zero -DEATH OR KISS-), but no release date or platform details are available as of yet.

Writer Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrator Shinichiro Otsuka launched the original story on the Shosetsuka ni Naro novel publishing website in 2012. The eighth light novel volume was published in Japan by Kadokawa on March 25th, and Yen Press released the first volume in English on July 19th. Yen Press also publish Daichi Matsuse’s manga based on the novels, releasing the first volume on July 26th.

The ongoing anime adaptation of the series premiered on April 3rd, and Crunchyroll are streaming new episodes as they air in Japan under the title Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-. The streaming service give the show the following summary:

Natsuki Subaru, an ordinary high school student, is on his way home from the convenience store when he finds himself transported to another world. As he’s lost and confused in a new world where he doesn’t even know left from right, the only person to reach out to him was a beautiful girl with silver hair. Determined to repay her somehow for saving him from his own despair, Subaru agrees to help the girl find something she’s looking for…
