Kizumonogatari Nekketsu-hen, the second film in Akiyuki Shinbo’s trilogy adapting NisiOisin’s Bakemonogatari prequel novel, Kizumonogatari, has been out in cinemas in Japan since August 19th, and is due to screen in the US this October. On Monday (September 5th), the movies’ official website unveiled a long version trailer, so you lucky Monogatari fans living across the pond can get a deeper look at all you have to look forward to.

To mark Nekketsu-hen‘s opening, it was announced that the third and final part, Kizumonogatari Reiketsu-hen, is slated for January 6th, 2017. The first part, Kizumonogatari Tekketsu-hen, opened on January 8th, and Aniplex of America screened it for the US from February through March. They also started screening Part 1 in four cinemas in Canada from August 28th.
Meanwhile, the Monogatari novels’ author NisiOisin planned to release two more volumes in the series this year, and the first, Nademonogatari, was published on July 29th. The second, Musubimonogatari, is yet to receive its precise release date.
