Event: Gallery Nucleus celebrates 70 years of Osamu Tezuka

'Ocean Adventure' by Alina Chau & 'Mr.Tezuka' by Jed Henry

Since 2004, the Gallery Nucleus has strived to be a welcoming spot for the art loving community to gather, with an emphasis on high quality exhibits. Now, they’re calling out to otaku to celebrate 70 years of Osamu Tezuka, the anime pioneer and godfather of manga.

Also coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Unico, the baby unicorn with the special gift to bring happiness to any heart, LA-based Nucleus will be sharing works from local and international artists with fans the world over from October 8th-23rd. All pieces shown will join their past exhibitions carefully catalogued on their website, including tribute artwork from over 30 amazing artists and new, exclusive prints. The gallery will also be hosting free giveaways, raffles, and prizes, offering free themed refreshments and more.

The event’s opening reception will take place on October 8th from 7:00pm-10:00pm. For a full list of artists taking part, and to sign up for an exclusive online preview of the Tezuka gallery, head to Nucleus’ official page for the Tezuka 70th / Unico 40th Celebration.
