Sailor Pluto actor Susan Aceron passes away

Yet more sad news, as dub actor Susan Aceron Gray has passed away after living with nasopharyngeal cancer for some time. The illness took her on October 9th, at the age of 44. Beloved for voicing Sailor Pluto in the English dub of Sailor Moon S, she also voiced Xenian Flower in the dub of Sailor Moon R Movie: Promise of the Rose, as well as portraying characters in Beyblade G Revolution, Digimon Frontier, and Medabots.

Visitation and prayers have been held in Alberta, Canada, before a mass and burial service taking place on Saturday. In the spirit of respecting her family’s privacy at this time, anyone can send their condolences by visiting, or signing the online guest book of condolences. Her family has also asked that in lieu of flowers, fans and well-wishers should make memorial donations in Susan’s name to a charity of their choice.

She was with her family in Alberta undergoing treatment when she died, and it’s a relief to us and surely many others that she was surrounded by her loved ones at the end. Rest in peace, guardian of the Gates of Time.
