Yesterday, Crunchyroll announced a series of live-screening events they’re calling Anime Movie Night, in collaboration with cinema advertisement company Screenvision Media and event cinema company KAOS Connect. Their first event slated for this April, three more are due to follow on a quarterly basis throughout the rest of this year.

Though no specific titles were announced for any of the theatrical events, Crunchyroll hinted at “some of the most popular anime titles, both new and classic”, including “select anime episodes or full-length theatrical releases”. The teaser below gives us a few more ideas of what we can look forward to, with clips of NanbakaBungo Stray DogsBloodivores and Soul Buster.

Crunchyroll are also promising behind-the-scenes content for each anime featured, with more details to be announced at a later date. So for now, we have no idea whether these movie nights will be exclusive to the US, or plan to expand their reach overseas. All we know is, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed on behalf of the UK.
