Your posts

Well, it’s been one hot Halloween week. Because of your hot takes, we mean. Get a load of these three scorchers.

To kick us off, Dewbond takes a dive into the issue of fanservice in anime and makes a good argument. It’s here to stay, but its existence isn’t the problem. We just want it done right.

Iniksbane penned a piece about the nature of Evangelion‘s Rei and how that affects her treatment by characters around her. It’s one to mull over as you watch (or rewatch) the classic (again).

Finally, Kapodaco looks into how trends affect the quality of anime and other Japanese media. We’ve seen this post being mentioned a lot, and for good reason, as it takes the time to explore how trends can also allow media to expand its ideas.

Whew, we’re definitely feeling fired up after that. Have a great weekend, and all the best to you. We hope you’re staying cosy too!
